I recently graduated from UBC with a PhD in structural engineering. I've been working as a structural engineer for 2 years now. I was born in Dubai, lived there for 15 years and then moved to Shiraz, lived there for 8 years and then moved to Vancouver in 2007 by myself to do my graduate studies. I consider Shiraz my hometown. I'm very passionate about music and arts in general. I've been playing the Santour for 13 years on a semi-professional level. I'm very keen on sports an having an active and adventurous lifestyle. Working out three days a week at the gym is a must for me. I play soccer (football) with a team that plays in a competitive league. I like mountain climbing, volleyball, and mountain biking too. Other things I'm passionate about include cars, fashion, traveling, and all kinds of outdoor adventures.
