I appreciate the value of the very gift that is life itself; care to share?

Proverbially, I've walked peaks and tread valleys as we all do with time; these, for me, were the life lessons that establish foundations worth building on. With that peace of mind and confidence in hand, I enjoy the simpler things in life. Someone who enjoys the simplicity of shared experiences and goals may find it worth the effort to get to know me. Sports, fine arts (music, art, dance, theatre etc) and academics were an integral part of my formative years. The outdoors are my comfort zone. I prefer to not complain about snowstorms, hot days and rain showers. I like hiking, camping, canoeing, riding my motorcycle, skiing. I am just as happy with dinner and a movie; in fact I really like the art of cuisine. If you like to dress up and go out, I wear it well. The key for me is variety. I have a formal education but I am not comfortable with the conformity of many formally educated; I appreciate problem solving minds that can think out of the box. I like science and development but if your wheel isn't broken, no need to fix it. I believe in mind over matter. I can achieve anything to which I set my mind, though I may not necessarily achieve that to which someone else wants to set my mind. :) Successes are meaningless if they can't be shared. TY.
