I don’t believe in love at first sight. I think that when a person is young, there may be more fantasies about what love really is, but I am not 16 anymore. Now I know, through life lessons, experience, and age, that love really takes work – devoted, sincere, and honest work. Love comes by knowing a person’s personality and how he/she treats you, in good times and bad. Sometimes, a charming gesture or tender words will cause love to increase suddenly, but realistically, love is an on-going, “on-giving” process that needs to be protected and honored.

I believe chemistry and personality are more important; but, I also think physical appearance plays a role, too. In the beginning of a relationship, the two people need to be physically attracted to each other in order to go further and get to know each other’s personality. I live a very healthy life style and I care about my appearance and figure. Since i am in the fashion business, I care about the way I dress. I also expect my partner to care about his appearance, his physique, and how to dress up … definitely no sloppy and uncoordinated looks. A clean and neat man is very attractive in my eyes!

What is the most important thing in a relationship? It is really hard to pinpoint important things. Love, trust, Respect, honesty, faithfulness, forgiveness, caring, responsibility … and many others are important in a relationship. If one element is missing, the relationship is not in balance. To have a strong and healthy relationship, both couples have to value and respect all the things that are necessary for a marriage. Oh God, I almost forgot it, “communication, communication, communication….” Not fighting or arguing, just a nice, pleasant, respectful, and meaningful communication. I think, good communication is a key to solve most of problems in every relationship.
