I’m ambitious, independent and family-oriented. I run an international engineering business, so life can be busy, but outside work I enjoy travelling, good food, live music, discovering new places and spending quality time with my daughter. Describe the perfect evening.
My perfect evening is something relaxed and genuine. A nice dinner, good conversation, maybe some music or a movie, and being with someone where you don’t need to force the conversation. I spend a lot of my life dealing with work, decisions and responsibilities, so I appreciate an evening where I can switch off, laugh, enjoy the moment and just be myself.
Describe your perfect weekend.
A good balance. Spending quality time, getting out of the house, having good food, doing something fun or spontaneous, and also having some time to relax. I enjoy events, music, travelling and discovering new places, but I’m equally happy with a comfortable weekend at home with the right company. Ideally, very little work — although I’m probably not very good at completely switching it off.
Do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe in attraction and a connection at first sight, definitely. Love is different. For me, real love develops when you know someone properly — their character, values, weaknesses, how they treat you and how they behave when life isn’t perfect.
How many kids would you like to have?
I’d be open-minded about the future.
How important is someone's physical appearance to you?
How important is someone's physical appearance to you? It matters because there has to be attraction, but it’s definitely not everything. Someone can be extremely attractive physically and become unattractive very quickly because of their personality. Intelligence, character, confidence, kindness, how they carry themselves and how we connect matter much more in the long term.
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
If you could have one super power, what would it be and why? Teleportation. My life involves enough travelling between different countries, businesses, meetings and family commitments that being able to instantly appear wherever I need to be would probably give me half my life back. More importantly, it would mean more time with the people I care about instead of airports and travelling.
What is the purpose of marriage?
What is the purpose of marriage? To build a genuine partnership. Two people choosing to support each other, create stability, build a family and a life together, and be there for each other when things are good as well as when life becomes difficult. Marriage shouldn't just be a title or ceremony — it should mean loyalty, commitment, trust and being a team.
What is the most important lesson that you've learned?
That circumstances can change very quickly, so you have to be resilient and keep moving forward. Business, money and success are important, but time is something you never get back. The people you love, your health, your children and the memories you create with them matter more than most of the things we spend our lives worrying about.
What do your friends like about you most?
What do your friends like about you most? Probably that I’m loyal and dependable. If someone I care about genuinely needs me, I’ll normally do whatever I can to help. I’m also ambitious, quite straightforward, generous with the people around me and usually the person trying to find a solution when everyone else sees a problem.
What do your friends tease you about the most?
What do your friends tease you about the most? Probably that I'm always working or thinking about work. Even when I'm supposed to be relaxing, part of my brain is probably still thinking about an email, a project, an idea or something that needs to be fixed. They would probably also say I like things done properly and can be a little too particular about details.
What gets on your nerves?
What gets on your nerves? Dishonesty, unnecessary drama, people wasting time, poor communication and people saying they'll do something and then not doing it. I can deal with mistakes — everyone makes them — but I find excuses, lack of responsibility and people not being straightforward much harder to tolerate.
What is the most important thing in a relationship?
What is the most important thing in a relationship? Trust. And underneath that, communication, respect and loyalty. I want to be able to talk openly about anything without games, guessing or unnecessary drama. You should feel that the other person is on your side, even when you disagree.
What's the best age to get married?
What's the best age to get married? I don't think there is a perfect age. It's more about meeting the right person when both people are emotionally mature enough to understand what commitment actually means. Being ready matters much more than whether you're 25, 30, 35 or 40.
What turns you off?
What turns you off? Dishonesty, arrogance, manipulation, disrespect, constant negativity, unnecessary drama and people who play games. I'm also turned off by someone who expects a lot from others but makes very little effort themselves.
What turns you on?
What turns you on? Confidence, intelligence, kindness and someone who has their own personality. Good conversation is very attractive to me. I like someone who takes care of themselves, has a good sense of humour, can be affectionate and playful, communicates openly and has a positive energy. Physical chemistry matters, but the mental connection makes the attraction much stronger.
What do you hope to be doing five years from now?
What do you hope to be doing five years from now? I want to have reached a point where the businesses I've built are strong, international and operating without requiring me to personally solve every problem every day. I still want to be involved and ambitious, but with much more freedom over my time.
