Looking for a long term, nurturing relationship

I am currently a medical resident in Michigan. I moved to the US after med school, did PhD and was a scientist before going into residency. I have a big artsy side and sometimes do arts in my free time, be it painting, crafting, or decorating my home :) I also work out pretty regularly and have a healthy lifestyle. I am looking for an intelligent man with a compassionate personality who is also physically fit. Sense of humor is a plus too :) Open communication, making self vulnerable, and empathy are highly important to me in a relationship.
