Iranian weddings are such elaborate occasions and families go all out to ensure that the couple has the most glorious day. There is so much organization when it comes to the wedding day, from the outfits to the décor, caterers, entertainment, the venue, and many other details which make Iranian wedding ceremonies so special.
To give Iranians a taste of the latest in bridal décor and ideas for the perfect wedding day, Elite Wedding Planners hosted The Iranian Wedding Fair earlier this year at the Rook and Raven Gallery in London. Being the only one of its kind in the city, the fair attracted some curious guests, anxious to get a peep at the latest Iranian wedding displays.

Wedding caterers, Easy Gourmet, displayed a few samples of wedding table settings and décor. One of their displays showed a grand, circular setting for a wedding banquet which delighted the guests passing by the tables. Flor-unikon arranged some gorgeous seasonal flowers in a wedding setting, as models dressed in wedding gowns, held their lovely hand-tied bouquets for the occasion.
Photographers were present at the event showing off their photographic skills and taking some glamorous shots to promote their work. One photographer, in particular, Barrie Downie, attracted a lot of attention amongst the guests that evening.

Table settings on display[/caption]
Lovely table displays from Adams Catering Hire were on show at the fair and included a table setting using chic, black fabric, white napkins, beautiful crockery and cutlery settings and glassware. They used Crystal Chiavari chairs and added a glamorous touch with some silver candelabras.
Another one of their displays had an old-fashioned look, using vintage-style table settings, various china pieces, old-fashioned champagne saucers and shimmering "lime-wash" chairs.
Showing off some delicious wedding cakes at the fair, was Rosalind Miller, an award-winning confectioner. She designed and created some spectacular, delicious wedding cakes, while keeping in mind the Iranian traditions.
The event was a huge success and had many brides-to-be making a fuss over all the displays and decorations, as they eagerly anticipated their wedding day.
